What skills does your character bring to the situation?
Tenel Ka grew up the daughter of one of the witches of Dathomir, a Force-sensitive clan of female warriors known for their ferocity. She also grew up the heir to the Hapes Consortium, with all the diplomatic training that entailed. Most importantly, she is a trained Jedi Knight who has survived injury and torture. These experiences have shaped her into a disciplined and dedicated woman who places great importance in her physical abilities and stays carefully in control of her emotions. She has adapted from the loss of her left arm and is able to keep up in nearly anything she attempts, she has great survival and foraging skills, and is not afraid of hardship or new situations. Though she doesn't necessarily like being a leader, she is able to take charge and make decisions with ease — both a result of her experiences in the field as a Jedi (which were often life and death) and as the ruler of a large starsystem. She is quite practical and able to detach herself emotionally from situations, a skill that has served her well, despite its cost — having watched her grandmother poison her mother, having been betrayed by friends, and losing her arm at a young age really really sucked for her. But the experiences shaped her into who she is today.

Why did you choose this specific character for 6I, and how do you picture them fitting into the game?
I have been a fan of the character since I was a kid, and have never had a place to play her before. The game's setting will allow me to explore the Jedi Knight side of Tenel Ka more than the Queen Mother side, which I really like. When she first attended the Jedi Academy as a young teen, she didn't tell anyone of her royal origins because she wanted to be judged on her merit rather than a title she never did anything to deserve. Tenel Ka here will be largely the same; her being Queen Mother of 60+ planets has no importance here (or, it won't once she realizes it's not why she was brought to this island) and thus she won't really talk about it. In a sense, this is almost a life she'd prefer – one without obligation to the Hapan throne.

How do you imagine your character will survive in 6I, and in what ways will they contribute to the settlement, if any?
I think as a Jedi and a Dathomiri, she won't have a difficult time in the 6I world, physically. She has many survival skills even without being able to use the Force, and will always volunteer to help with anything that comes her way. She'll be on the front lines if there's an attack, and willing to do anything needed. She may seem strange to people at first, since she has no sense of humor and is very practical (and, lbr, talks kind of like an awkward robot sometimes), but she'll make friends.

How will your character react to...

Being separated, possibly permanently, from loved ones and their previous life, including loss of powers, if applicable?
The loss of her Force abilities will probably affect Tenel Ka much less than it may another Jedi. She has always placed a higher value on her physical abilities than her Force abilities, as if she wanted to be worthy of them. She will miss them, absolutely, but will only see their absences as another challenge for her to overcome. As a Jedi, she has already learned that her life is not one of choice – and that years may go by without seeing her friends or family because their duties and their callings are more important. Jacen, her closest friend (whom she also has feelings for) had been gone for nearly five years when she came to 6I.

Their environment being manipulated, possibly in strange or extraordinary ways, and possibly in ways which restrain them? Having visited (and had to survive on) many different planets, the environmental manipulations and strange happening won't throw her too much — a brief restabilization and then she'll be back on her feet just as stable as before. And if she is confused or uncomfortable in this new world where she is (in her eyes) a prisoner, it will be extremely unlikely for Tenel Ka to let on. She will do her best to seem completely in control, though she will be searching for answers as much as possible. There must be one.

Being physically and/or mentally manipulated, such as having hallucinations or suddenly possessing special abilities they did not have before?
Yeah, this may be a bit harder for her to deal with. Force-sensitive since she was born, Tenel Ka has always trusted in her feelings — and in the mystery of the Force. Visions, hallucinations, anything like that in the past was something she could trust in, either for better or worse. Either she was being tested or being told something, it was always the Force doing it. There was always an outcome, always a goal to be achieve whether it was resisting the Dark Side or simply feeling the world around her. Receiving other powers, having other hallucinations whose origins she doesn't know? Tenel Ka is not going to have an easy time with that.
